The Illinois ASA adult program has served as the backbone of the association since its beginning in 1932. In 2007 the Illinois ASA registered over 6500 teams With over 170,000 teams, close to 100,000 players and 0ver 650 umpires involved on an annual basis, the adult program provides recreational and social benefits for adults throughout Illinois.

The Illinois ASA provides varied programs of competition for adults including fast pitch and slow pitch. Whether a player views softball as an opportunity for socialization with friends, or as a path to one of the ASA's 90 National Championships, the Illinois ASA has something for them.
